Hi

I am working on a project that I have to enter a Vehicle 17 digit Vin #,Is there a formula to format the cursor to shift to the right on 17 individual cells,if so I need to make a formula to automatically move to the next cell on the right after I type in the letter or number on the selected cells without having to use the right shift arrow is this possible excel 2007 .
Thanks Raner.

Assuming you enter the entire VIN in cell A2, then paste this formula:

Code:
=MID($A2,COLUMN()-1,1)
in cell B2, and autofill out to cell R2.

Cheers,
