Help with Check List
In F2 I am using =SUM(IF(FREQUENCY(MATCH(Table1[Section],Table1[Section],0),MATCH(Table1[Section],Table1[Section],0))>0,1)) to tell me the Total number of Sections I have.
In F3 =COUNTIFS(Table1[Area],"*") to tell me the Total number of Areas I have. In G3 =COUNTIFS(Table1[Area],"*",Table1[Finish],"*") tells me how many Areas are Finish. I am trying to write a formula in G2 that will tell me how many Finish Sections there are. I made a breakdown table below the count table and you can see there are 3 Sections that are done. |

Code:
=COUNTIF(G6:G13,"Done") |

The table below was to help explain what I am looking for. I do not want to use that table. Is there a way to write a formula to get what I want without the help of another table.

Presuming the data in question is located in a column, change the G3:G13 to the column letter and beginning/ending cell number.

Wont work tried it. In each Section there are 3 Areas. For each section to be considered Done all 3 areas need to be done.

I'm just guessing at this point because I can't see your table. Post the actual table you are speaking of. |
