Percentage calculations based on if over or under
I have a formula that i need help with.
I need up to 5000 to be multiplied by .1 If number does not reach 5000 then that number is to be displayed in the total cell, no further action. If the amount is over 5000 then the amount over 5000 is to be multiplied by .25 After that the total of those two amounts to be added together and displayed in a total cell. I thought about using if function but I am not familiar with it and the formula is not working out the way i intend it to. I have a sample doc attached. Any help would be appreciated! |

=(c5>0)*(c5<=5000)*c5*0.1+(c5>5000)*((c5-5000)*0.25+5000*0.1)
