How to use conditional formatting for two criteria?
Hello
I would like to use conditional formatting (or other hypothesis) for the following: If one cell has "yes" and the other has "-", format with red color. I'm not getting. I tried the formula: If in the cell has "yes" and in the other has "-", write in another cell "no" and based on this "no", format in red. But I didn't want it to be like this. Thank you for your attention and for your help. |

Basically the CF would be =AND($A1="yes",$A2="-") applied to the cell/range you need to color

You're welcome. I've seen many folks having problems with the AND function. Always easiest to check a function's syntax first.
