How to fill a cell at row and column intersection with conditional Formatting
Hello Pros;
I have a distance calculator sheet with lots of rows and columns of numbers, I used CF to find the distance between two location by CF of specific row with column intersection. I am looking to fill merely the intersection cell. Can you help how to fill color just intersection cell with CF? Appreciate in advance. Cheers. Iraj |

I have done this myself, if you would have read my explanation properly, I do not want whole row and column be filled, instead just one cell which is at intersection change the color.

hi,
Here I attched a copy of my distance calculator, just change the name in drop down list, automatically the relevant row and column will fill green with CF. But I would like to have just the intersection cell highlighted with color. Cheers, Iraj. |

Hi ,
I did not get your point, can you please give me the little bit of details. If I remove the Col how does that work then. |

Take a minute to look at the video and only use the last conditional formatting ( orange)
As it is well explained, you will learn how to do it for the future.

I need no utube like this. You do not get what I asked. I just want one cell which is at the intersection of row and column to change color not entire row and entire column. Hope you pay little attention to the question.

Again, watch the video but skip the part about the range and column. The intersection highlighting is described and does not depend on formatting the row or the column.
But perhaps you would like someone else to do everything for you?
