Default Referencing a cell and getting its content and colour

Hi

I have a workbook with several sheets
The first sheet contains a list of participants for a rugby survey
Column A is ID e.g. RG_1, RG_2, RG_3 etc.
As the survey results come in I am colour-coding Column A
green - survey completed, red - email bounced, etc

The remaining sheets show subsets of sheet1 broken down into decades

How do I reference a cell in column A sheet 1 and get both its value and colour?

Thanks

Bob M

Is the color the result of conditional formatting?
If not, search the web, this problem has already been solved

So you are doing this manually?
How many colors do you have?
Would CF be applicable?

yes - manually
3 or 4 colours

The survey is currently under way........I have no idea which participants will complete the survey, or which emails will bounce
