I am creating a finance spreadsheet and I want to test a cell which has a drop down menu for a specific 5 digit account number. My menu options are 30201 (Bill), 30201 (Fred) and 30205. When I test the cell, currently I use the IF function, I want it to return a value if it's 30205 or if it contains 30201. There will eventually be 10 drop down 8 of which will contain 30201 (a_name).
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jonathan |

I am not 100% sure I understand.
Are you able to post a sample workbook showing what you are trying to do and expected results? |
