![]() I have a spreadsheet that when I open it, I have to update the sheet or not. I hit the button (either one) and it says I have a circular reference error. I have gone over the whole book and cannot find it. I used the error checking tool and nothing. What else is there top do: |

Best to post the workbook if not confidential...so we can help investigate...

Unfortunately I cannot post, privileged work product. It's just an annoyance, I'll try to redo it and leave out product and work info.
Thank you all stand by for another, hopefully easier post |

I was suggesting that the latter is due to rounding issues. But circular references, be they on purpose or by accident, can cause all sorts of unexpected results. |

Are you using the Circular References tool in the Error Checking dropdown? It should identify both the cell location and sheet where the circular reference is (see attachments)
