Default Checking ref # status based on sheet2 ref #.

Dear All,

I have two worksheet say Sheet1 and sheet2.
Sheet1 is for Jan10 and Sheet2 for Feb10.
Both sheet contains ref# and remarks.
I want to check that if ref# is common on both sheet i.e say sheet1 and sheet2 then return the remarks of both the sheet.
i.e if ref# 2612A found on both sheet then in Sheet3 i want status of ref# 2612A in following format and so on for all Ref # based on Sheet2.

Sht#. Remarks from sheet1 Remarks from Sheet2

Note:- If ref# of Sheet2 is not available on sheet1 then return as Ref # not available on sheet1.

Any formula or macro or code that solve my problem.

Please help,
Attachment is the sample file.

Rgds,
Aligahk06

Hi,

#N/A means the number was not available on sheet 1.

Cheers,
