Dear Forum Members, Greetings. I am trying to create both bar chart and trendline in excel. I have a dataset of 6 variables of 5 different years. First I need to draw a bar chart. I have already done it. I facing a problem with the second one. I want to draw trendline for selected years of all variables. I have data of 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. I just want to draw trendline of 2014, 2015 and 2016. Is this possible? Thanks in advance. |

You could do it manually, I suppose, though a three-point trend is not much of a trend at all. If you were to do it this way and assuming you don't need anything more complicated than a linear trendline, I would just use Insert Shape and draw a line through where you suppose the trend might be. More precision than that for a three-point trend is sort of silly.
