Electronic Logbook with Signature
Hi guys,
I'm looking into making an electronic version of our old school "loaned items" logbook. So what happens is, when someone borrows an item from the office, they should write their details and sign in the logbook. My mission is now to make an electronic version with the help of a Surface Pro so it would be easier to capture the signature digitally (if that would be of any help). Entering all the details in a single row is no issue but I'm thinking of how to save the signature on the same row as well. When I try to use the SP pen it can write all over the screen and not into a specific cell only. I've looked at topics on digital signatures but that is to authenticate the workbook and not the visual signature that I need. I would appreciate if someone can advise the steps or a link to help me with the signature part. If there is also a better or alternative way of doing it aside from Excel, I'm open to suggestions. Thank you so much in advance! |
