Cool Date Range Formular

Hi hope someone can help see attached spread sheet I need the column G in Red to result in the date range selection Its driving me crazy?

=TEXT(G2,"dd-mmm-yy")&"  -  "&TEXT(G3,"dd-mmm-yy")
You will have to copy and paste into each cell you want the dates displayed.
You will not be able to paste and drag down.

Wouldn't =TEXT($G$2,"dd-mmm-yy")&" - "&TEXT($G$3,"dd-mmm-yy")
allow to drag down?
