Hi, can anyone tell me how to categorise / sort my visa bill once I have imported it into Excel.

perhaps post a sample of what your data looks like after importing?
( just some mock up data will do but layout is important)
Click Go advanced - Manage attachments

Hi, thanks for replying, the statement has the usual field of date, posted date, description, amount. I want to have meaningful fields like "entertainment", "diesel", "household", etc. etc. can I create these fields and somehow import the info. I was hoping i wouldnt have to do it every time.

Lots of ways to skin that cat:

* Use the same sheet and merely append the new data each month.
* Create a template.
* Just use the website. Many credit card interfaces allow users to assign categories.
