replace numbers with names

Hello, I have a table with days and tasks to do. Then another one with names and respective numbers. When I type a person's number in the task table, I would like excel to replace the number with the name of the person.
Is this possible to do ?

Can you accept that numbers are entered in for example rows 2:6 and then the corresponding names appear in rows 24:28?

Or forget about the numbers entirely and just use a validation list for each cell in the table.

Sure, I'm looking for the solution, so I can try any suggestion.
I've tried =INDEX($Q$1:$Q$14,MRAND()+1) functions, but notice it repeats ppl on the same task on the following day...so this is no good.

Does validation list pick random ppl to random tasks & doesn't repeat them ?

If you in the attached file anywhere in A1:Z100 enter one of the numbers 1 to 8 Excel will automatically change that number to the corresponding name according to your list.

Or with your layout in post #1 and a minor switch to the names...
