Counting the difference in days within multiple groups
Hi all I have been working on a project where I have to identify anytime a group number appears within a 5 days period within multiple groups. I have sorted the spread sheet by group# and I am ok with subracting one date from another to get the difference, however, the group numbers change. I can continue to manuallydo it the way I am but the spreadsheet has over 7,500 lines. If you look at the attachment, you will see that each time the group # changes I have manually entered in a zero in the "# Of Days" field because that starts the next group set and the first date of the set is using the last date of the previous group set which is not what I need. I tried to add to the current formula using "IF" but it doesnt work. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks |

Thanks gebob
That worked perfectly. I must have written my "IF" formula incorrectly. |
