Default Formula Head Stracher

Problem: Budget is $100K for 14 months, $7142.85 per month
=DATEDIF(Start date,enddate, "m")
start date is 1/1/2017 enddate is 5/1/2017,
results = 4 month, $7142.85 * 4 = $28,571.42
Now same start date and end date
=DATEDIF(Start date,enddate, "d")
results = 121 days, $235.29 per day * 121 days = $28,470.58.
Different of $102.
Where is my error?
