![]() I get this error on opening and closing Excel 2010 for Home and Students 64 bit on Windows 10 64 bit. The error also sometimes refers to tool MGlobal_Open. I have searched for a fix but nothing I have found is relevant to my version and platform. I have tried Repair and also uninstalled and reinstalled Office to no avail. Can someone help me fix this please? |

I'm getting exactly the same error with Windows 11 and Office 365 64-bit (latest version) Excel (except no reference — yet — to MGlobal_Open). Like the OP, I have tried Repair and Reinstall, without success. If I dismiss the error message (needs two clicks) and open a file, I can edit as normal and save. When I then close Excel the error message shews again and goes and the program closes on two clicks. Can anyone suggest what's going on and how to stop it, please? |

What add-ins and startup workbooks (eg personal macro workbook) do you have loaded?
