Insert Static Date when another cell is changed.
Good Morning. I am needing some help with inserting a static date. I have my sheet setup where Column C is a pulldown menu for cells C5-C99 with the options of Not Started, In Progress, and Completed. When the cell changes to completed I want Column F to populate the static date in the same row. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Yes... can it be set up so that if the status is changed back to Not Started or In Progress that the date disappears? I know it seems trivial but it would be very helpful.
Thanks. |

Please forget all about #4 and #5 (my confusion).
The code in the attached file (slightly adjusted) is from: http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/timestamp.html adjusted a bit |
