Default Link in Excel to a Document on a Server

I'm trying to build a shared spreadsheet that is stored on an office server that when you click on the title of a document, it opens it. I thought it would be as simple as hyperlinking to the document that is also on the server, but it doesn't seem to work. any thoughts?

I'm not clear what you intend by "when you click on the title of a document, it opens it".

If you are talking about putting a hyperlink to a shared sheet in another sheet or some other Office document, that should work provided all the users have their drives mapped the same way. What is the hyperlink that you tried to use? Can you attach the document that has the hyperlink?
