typing in cell

unable to type in cell. Entire workbook, it seems, is grayed out. I just used this yesterday....

All the items over the top are grayed.

Sounds like it is protected maybe. Did you or somebody else place a password on the sheet?

On the ribbon, look under the Review tab >> What does the Protect sheet show.

If it's protected then you will see "Unprotect Sheet"
