Hi, This is just an example or sample of what I would like to do on a much larger spreadsheet and the solution we find should apply easily.
On the attached sheet I want to fill in the "Totals" area that has the ??? with the sum of all data with the same label that is scattered throughout the sheet. The value for each label is consistently one cell to the right of the label. Is it possible to do this with ONE formula in the totals area? I was able to pull it off with hidden SUMIFs for each column and label and then SUM all of the SUMIFs for each label in the totals area, but I thought there might be a more elegant solution with just one formula for each total. Ideas? Thanks. P |
