Freeze first column not working
In my Excel 2010 document, I'm highlighting the first column, selecting View, and then freeze first column, but it's not working--the first column doesn't appear on the second page in print preview. What am I missing? Thanks.

I don't know if the way you tried works, but selecting B1 and clicking " Freeze panes" should freeze all raws above the selection ( in this case none) and all columns to the left of the selection ( col A)

Thanks, Pecoflyer. I tried this, but it's not working, not even in a new document I created. It worked in previous documents for me, so as a workaround, I copied a document in which freezing column A works, erased all the data, and added what I wanted. I can't imagine why freeze columns isn't working for me. Any suggestions on how to get it to work in a new document? Thanks again.

Are you using XL 2010 starter? Freeze panes is not available there.
