Holiday report excel - pull +/- hours from cells containing text and number

I am looking to breakdown the report as per the attachment.

Any input with Sold I want to make a minus of the figure stated.
Any input with Bought I want to make a positive of the figure stated.
Any with "not a member" I want to make a 0.

Does anyone know a formula for this?

Bad idea to mix text and numbers. Most times, as here, it requires awful formulas.

Thank you. That is a great help. The report is from a benefit provider (not a great format).
