Default Conditional Formatting if certain cell meet certain conditions

I need to figure how to get a certain cell to turn the color I want based on select cell having a certain word in them. I was trying something like this but it would not let do it.

=$E2,$E5,$E6="NMC"

I understand that this is not the proper formula. Any help would be appreciated.

Default

Select the cell you want to color.
Use the following formula in Conditional Formatting:

=($E$2="NMC")*($E$5="NMC")*($E$6="NMC")

Format as you want.
OK. OK.
