I'm trying to create a dropdown from a named range in a diffrent sheet, and get some wierd erros, please help..



the dropdown is in the cells on column F
and the names range is "Worksheet 1: A1:A4"

yes. but how you did it? I tried but failed..

Changed name of present sheet Worksheet 1 to Sheet1
Inserted a new sheet and named it Sheet2
In Sheet2!A1 I inserted the following formula:
=INDEX('רשימת עובדים להעלאה'!$A$1:$X$1;COLUMNS('רשימת עובדים להעלאה'!A1:$A$1))
Copied this formula to A1:X1.
Selected Sheet2!A1:X1, took a copy and pasted to the same range as values.
Deleted sheet רשימת עובדים להעלאה.
Selected Sheet2!F2, Data, Data Validation, List and selected Sheet1!A1:A4. (=family_status). OK.

Don't ask me about the very strange behaviour of sheet רשימת עובדים להעלאה. I wonder if it may have been set up by someone reading from right to left??

it's in hebrew so yes, it was in rtl, not sure why that would be a problem..
I'll try the steps you described to find out what was the problem..
