Web queries
Hi people :-)
My spreadsheet contains a dozen web queries that get financial numbers from web pages. They perform well when I run them individually. But when they're run all at once (for example when the spreadsheet is being opened), Excel just sits there endlessly "connecting to web" and if I click anywhere Excel becomes "not responding". Questions: - Anybody knows what is could be going on and how it can be solved? - Is there a maximum number of web queries for a single spreadsheet? (maybe a dozen is a bit too much?) - Is there a better way to pull in financial numbers from misc websites? P.S I use Excel 2013. Previously I used an older version and it didn't perform very well either. |

SOLVED: apparently I had to disable "Enable background refresh" for every connection
