Default Linking text between worksheets

Workbook contains 8 sheets. Seven are individual listings under category of cases and the eighth is a master list. Is there a way to automatically update the master list sheet whenever text is entered into one of the seven individual sheets? I have tried the paste special link, but that only puts the information into specific cells and not just the next available row in the master list. If anyone knows something I am missing or if it can't be done, please let me know.
