Default Problem with SCR LK

Hello,

I have a backlit keyboard and I'm having problem because Excel is ons of the few programs that still use that command. Is there a way to disable it? It's very annoying to use the dark keyboard without light...

If is needed I'm using Windows 10 and Office 2007

What can be done in the area probably depends on the make & model of your laptop and what configuration options it offers. Unless you're looking to exclude Excel from accessing the Scroll Lock key, it's not really an Excel issue, as such. If that's what you want to do, though, see: https://support.office.com/en-us/art...B-DF46669520E0

Well, this is an Excel issue. Some other programs like Openoffice don't have this problem. So, yes, I want to exclude Excel from accessing the scr lk key.

I already tried to do like in the link you posted but it's no use. My keyboard have the scr lk button and have to use it to turn on the light.

Insisting that something's an Excel issue when your laptop manufacturer has ignored the published standards for the Operating System and applications the laptop is sold for use with does not make it an Excel problem. The problem is with your laptop manufacturer and, as I said in my previous post, the resolution probably depends on the make & model of your laptop and what configuration options it offers.

Well, it's not me insisting saying that, it's only common sense since it's official that Excel still use that key...

Anyway, I'm using an Asus laptop i7-3537U CPU @ 2,00GHz 2,50GHz
What do you suggest to do to solve the problem?
