Edit Hyperlink box opens split across screens
My PC has two monitors and I can't find a way to get the Edit Hyperlink box (right click the hyperlink and select Edit Hyperlink) to open as I want. No matter what I do, if the hyperlink is in a column to the left of my spreadsheet, the edit box opens half on my main screen and half on the other one (to the left of the main one). Editing hyperlinks which are in columns further to the right in the Excel file, isn't a problem: clearly, the hyperlink edit box always opens at a set distance to the left of the hyperlink that is being edited. Anyone know how I can get Excel to open all such dialogue boxes in one set place (or to the right, rather than the left of the hyperlink being edited, which would solve the problem in this case) rather than do what it is doing at the moment? (99% of the hyperlinks I need to edit - hundreds of them - are in the far left column of the spreadsheet, so this is getting annoying, having to drag the box onto the main screen every time).
Thanks! |
