Default Shortcut to haven ascending values in row/column of cells

Hello --

Is there any shortcut in excel 2010 to select a cell (the one I have contains a date) and then fill in successive cells with ascending dates, in my case ascending days of the same month? I can click on the lower right hand corner and drag, but I thought it would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut.
