Default Google "=Filter()" function excel equivalent.

Hello, I have a Google sheet that I need to convert to Excel due to Sheets not having a "Collapsible Group" function yet.

There is some functionality in this sheet set that contains what this reference document contains: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
If the main sheet has items in the categories selected, the other sheets will display those items, which is the functionality I'm trying to convert to excel.
Any help is appreciated.

For reference, here is the Docs help on the command I'm looking to Excel Source: https://support.google.com/docs/answer/3093197?hl=en
