What is the best chart to use (Excel 2010)
Hi all,
First post here so forgive me if this is covered elsewhere. I am currently collecting data on time booked by staff to a specific job number for the previous month. What I have is the data for Staff Name, Total Time Booked (for that month), and Average Time Booked (for the days that they booked time to the job in the month). Example: P. Smith, 14.5, 2.41 J. Client, 12.0, 2.4 B. Solomonson, 6.3, 1.57 K. Hilton, 52.0, 2.88 I tried bar charts with two x-axis' but the graphical representation doesn't look that good due tot he scaling of the two axis'. I think a scatter chart would work best, but I can't get the chart to produce the correct result without manually entering each staff member as a series. Any/all help greatly appreciated. *** UPDATE *** Found the issue. Instead of names I was using Staff Numbers and Excel was thinking these were data points rather than labels. Fixed it by replacing the numbers with actual names and all is good. Regards, Kev. |
