Default Can you help me with this formula?

I have made this formula to alternate colours based on grouping with the 'Works Order' column. However, I would like it to update when I hide certain rows.

For example, if I was to hide row 4, then id like it to automatically shade the 3 rows with '304461' in column A.

Currently, this only works if I delete the row, and this is not what I want to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks, Mike.

Hi, Sorry in new to forums really, I'm usually just reading the info, not posting questions. I'll make sure not to repeat my mistake.

As Pecoflyer pointed out I have already asked this question on another forum, but currently, no one has replied and I thought I'd try and see if you guys had any info on my problem.

Thanks again for the info Pecoflyer.

Firstly, it would be more helpful if you posted the actual file instead of a picture.
Secondly it is not clear to me what you want. Is the only rule that you want to shade rows 5, 6 and 7 if row 4 has been hidden?

Hi xor, thanks for your reply, the image is just a fraction of the entries I need to work with. the will be a couple of thousand lines and the groups can be as big a 30 lines. I'm just trying to make it easier for people looking at the file to not get jobs mixed up.
