Compute Time-Weighted Investment Return
Hello. Please see the attachment...the part framed in blue; regarding "money-weighted return" and "time-weighted return". It is a photo of a page in a brokerage statement that covers 2008-2015 (ignore 2016).
The statement does not compute the annualized return. It only computes the "total return" in the last column "Entire Period". The 2nd row called "contributions/withdrawals" are deposits into the brokerage account. QUESTION: How can I compute an annual "money-weighted return" and/or annual "time-weighted return"? Since I don't have the exact dates of the "contributions", let's assume they all were made on June 30 of the years in which contributions were made. Thanks in advance. Bill Georgetown, IN |

Hi
nothing attached. To get better help always post a workbook on which we can work. Images are useless. Thanks
