Cut and paste a range of cells and preserve formatting
In Excel 2007 I have a table with formatted cells (color filled and bordered). I need to move (cut and paste) the values, but not the formatting, to another part of the spreadsheet. When I select a range of cells, it takes the formatting with it and leaves blank white cells -- the color and borders are gone. If I cut and paste just one cell, however, I have the option under the Paste menu to paste only the value. How can I make this option available for a range of cells and not just one?

You need to copy and special paste only the values of the range and after that delete the cells
