square dot in excel pivot
Hello experts;
How do I have square dots in cells of an excel pivot table to represent data. for instance, if the data says 2, then it should have two square dots if the data says 3, then it should have three square dots. |

You can use the function =REPT(text,number_times)

No, this is not meant for your pivot table directly; rather, try using it within your dataset and then apply to the pivot table.

hi;
my data set is coming from a query because my pivot is connected to an oracle database |

I wish you had said that upfront as I probably would have let somebody else help as I don't have a solution for you. Maybe somebody else will step in.

I have figured it out. you will have to use REPT("n", Sum (the required column)) in your flat files at the end of the column and then you can pull in the new measure row created from the calculation into your pivot and change the font to windings with a bold
Thanks for the help all |
