Note the following:
1. If you click on any cell within Column A, the cell immediately adjacent in Column B will be highlighted as one. It is as if they were linked somehow. 2. If you click on any cell within Column B, the cell immediately adjacent in Column C will be highlighted as one. It is as if they were linked somehow. 3. If you click on any cell within Column C, it does not happen. 4. If you click on any cell within Column D, the cell immediately adjacent in Column E will be highlighted as one. It is as if they were linked somehow. 5. If you click on any cell within Column E, the cell immediately adjacent in Column F will be highlighted as one. It is as if they were linked somehow. 6. If you click on any cell within Column F, the cell immediately adjacent in Column G will be highlighted as one. It is as if they were linked somehow. 7. If you click on any cell within Column G, it does not happen. 8. If you click on any cell within Column H, it does not happen. Thanks for helping me with this perplexing issue. |

I tried everything you explained and nothing unusual happened (nothing highlighted).
If you copy paste the entire sheet to another sheet or workbook, does the behavior still occur?

Hmmm
That is perplexing as I did try what you had suggested and the "new" sheet did the same thing that had occurred on the "old" sheet. I will start from scratch. Hopefully, that will work. Interestingly, I have developed three other separate spreadsheets and they all worked as intended. Did not have any "extra" cells highlighted when I went to copy/paste one cell to other cells. Appreciate your assistance. |
