unusual bug in excel 2016
So we were about to roll out excel on monday (today is friday april 1st) and we have a couple users running excel 2016, and someone discovered when trying to duplicate a sheet from excel 2007, we get this bug. I Will be happy to pass the sheet along to anyone who thinks they can figure it out. I am an IT admin, as well as a .NET developer and SQL Database developer. So I'm no stranger to computers or the basic workings of microsoft office.
It's so wierd that I just had to upload it to youtube. This is going to hold up our entire rollout of office 2016 pro plus. https://youtu.be/EUT6rIviN_Y Anyone have any thoughts? |

the simple reason for this is that the source workbook uses the Mac 1904 system date base, whilst the target workbook uses the PC 1900 date base. See under File|Options|Advanced>When calculating this workbook>Use 1904 date system.
