Compare & remove both sets of duplicate values
I had a DB of email addresses in Excel and have a separate file for addresses which have bounced during previous mail outs. I want to compare the two files and remove the duplicate values. I know how to use the Remove Duplicates option but it only removes the 2nd entry, I want both entries removed so that my DB will be a clean copy with no email addresses which no longer work (or bounce).
I can use Conditional Formatting to highlight all the duplicates but at the moment the only way I can work out how to do this is to then go through and manually delete the records which have doubles. I have 21,477 rows of data so that would take some times to do. Can anyone advise how I can do this? |
