Excel file lost data how to recover it
Hi
I have a client when she opened an excel file (office 2003) over the network she received a popped up message that this is a read only file (she cannot remember the exact message) I would expect (but not sure) it might be one of these messages in the link below http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814112 and then she saved accidentally to the same place where the origin file residing (means she had overwritten the origin file) she did not lost a file itself and she did not lost all data , she lost her recent work which is one month work (data), Can that work (data) be recovered ?,,,,I am not looking to recover the excel file itself I am looking to recover the lost data Thanks |

I would check out a Microsoft Forum that might address this specific issue since there must be a hundred or more specific forums, particularly if this is a network problem
