Windows 7 64bit Formulas transferring to other pages in workbooks, but data isn't.

when using the "=" on a worksheet 1 in a cell, and then go to the worksheet 2 to get the data, the formula is showing ='prev oh job wages eff 5-12-2015'!H10 in the cell on worksheet 1 and not the data from the cell in worksheet 2
I've tried to attach a document showing exactly what I mean, but I can't
