Default File is presenting errors constantly

Hello Friends,

I want to tell you about a strange error which's appearing every once in a while in my computer: the file contains information about enterprise employees. It contains many formulae but it works right. However, from time to time the cells begin to show #N/A errors that cannot being eliminated, but only when I replace the data manually.

I've generated a new document from scratch, as well, but the problem goes on. Even in other PCs (at home).

What this could be?

thanks in advance,

Harold

The #N/A error isn't strictly an error like the other types displayed by Excel. It simply means the information the formula is looking for isn't available at this time. For example, if a formula was looking for the colour "blue" in the list:

green
yellow
orange
black
red

The result would be #N/A because "blue" is not in that list; however, the formula is still working perfectly.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
