I want to show the duration time with begining and ending time in Sheet2 with colorizing.
There is an example in Excel Sheet. When I enter a date both begin and end time, my manager want to see the block time in month. I colorized the Sheet 2 with hand made, but we want to system and formulas for this question. Thanks for your aid. Best regards. |

Ok, I will explain.
For instance; When I enter the date time in Sheet 1 both beginning and ending, I want to show the duration period time in Sheet 2. Duration time: Ending time-Beginning time. In Sheet2, I colorized the lines with manual. But we want to see colurized line automatically with beginning and ending time when ı enter the date times in Sheet 1. |

That's exactly what I did in 11_2. How you actually tried to change Date Beg and Date End in Sheet1 (rows 2:4) and noticed what happens in Sheet2?

For instance in 11_2 for column A2, I wrote 01.03.2016, but I can make a mistake when I enter a date beg and I can change the date from 01.03.2016 to 02.03.2016, so in Sheet 2, the begining time that system automatically colorized should change simultaneously when I change the date times in Sheet 1. We want to see a visual colorized lines that you did in 11_2. But there isn't any formulas in Sheet 2 only we make it manual. We need a formula for Sheet 2. Hopefully it undertood. |

Formulas are under Conditional Formatting (select for example Sheet2!A5 and press Conditional Formatting).
But I think I will stop here as I am still not sure I understand you (which may be due to the fact that English isn't my mother tongue). |

Go to Home: Conditional Formatting: Manage Rules
Select the one rule that is there and click on Edit Rule. |

For full excel can we do the colorizing with your conditional formatting? |

Go to Home: Conditional Formatting: Manage Rules In the box for "Applies to", change the range to whatever you want. I made it for $A$3:$KT$100 and it seemed to work fine. What are you trying to do here? A Gantt chart? |

Great, but don't thank me. Thank XOR. In fact, it would be nice if you would click the scales on the right of one of his posts and add to his reputation. Cheers!
