Default Populating data From one sheet to another, relative rows

Firstly, my problem may be not knowing how to properly describe what I need.

I'm trying to make a master spreadsheet where all data is entered, then have that populate individual sheets based on criteria in an if statement.

I got it to work by referencing specific cells, but I need it to where it could by just referencing a column.

I would greatly appreciate any help. I've uploaded the .xls. I know my description skills are a little lacking, so please contact me if you need any clarification.

Thank you kindly.

Excuse me, but I think your first sentence is spot on.

It may be completely obvious to you what is meant by V, S and M in row 3 in sheet BC, but not to me.
Do you actually want to have 8 in both B4, D4 and F4 of sheet BC?

I think it would be helpful if you would give more examples of what you exactly want returned to sheets BC and AM (including descriptive headings).

Yeah, I think it would be better if you would break own what it is you are actually trying to accomplish. What does the data on the Master sheet signify? Why do you want specific data to populate other sheets?

You're right. I uploaded the wrong version.

What I need is when a line is complete on the Master sheet, it goes into the correct column in the subsequent sheets.

Like on the first line. The date and hours show up on the BC sheet in the V (disposition) column. Right now it works, because I'm calling out the specific cell. I need something that can call a relative cell so I will go automatically to the right place.

Again, I may not be quite describing myself clearly.

Thank you. That looks good. I do have a couple of questions, though.

1) Why the "d"?
2) How do I add an AND() clause that checks for the Approved value?

Cool. Thanks. One more question, though.

If I change the range of 'd', none of it works. I tried changing to to whole columns, and all kinds of things. I even tried adding one row with data and it still stops working. This is going to be something people keep entering data on. I've looked at the formulas, and I can't see why it would do this.

Any thoughts?

I changed all the named ranges (d, date, hrs, initials) so that last row is 1000 instead of 13 and it works fine for me.

As mentioned a couple of times before don't change the references to whole columns! That's a sure way to kill Excel when you have array- or array-like formulas.

It's populating the BC and AM sheets on your machine with that change, because they're blank on mine. Is it a version issue?

Apparently I had forgotten to change two of the names (from last row 13 to 1000)
Try this one.

I had checked that, but apparently my columns weren't wide enough for me to see that. Sorry about that.

You've been a great help, but I have one further question. How do I discern the disposition to populate the correct columns? S, V, M
