Column AP contains the word "BLACK" ( 5 characters) and the word "BLACK " (6 characters extra space)
Perhaps in an empty column enter = TRIM(AP2), pull down as needed then or Copy Paste Special - Values to AP or Select the column you created put the mouse arrow against the upperborder of this selection ( it turns to a arrow cross) while pressing down the RIGHT mouse button drag the range to AP and release the button In the menu that now appears select Copy here as values only Then try sorting again
