Default copy non zero values to new column

I think I am missing the wood for the trees here, and going to kick myself when someone tells me the answer.

First question-

As part of a tracking system in MS Project, a sheet is generated that gives each task a rating (say 1-10). This is the seed value, column A. I need to separate these based on the seed value, into those with values of 1, 2-4, 5-7, and 8-10, which I can do (columns E-H). What I then need to do is transfer these values to a column without the 0 values. I have shown what I mean in columns J-M.

The task names need to remain in the same order as the original sequence, so I cant just sort.

Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot

Not as simple as I first thought in terms of the answer- my Excel isn't too bad, but still a lot that eludes me!

Do you know array formulas (which it is)?

If not, please observe that when entering or editing such a formula you most hold down Ctrl and Shift before pressing Enter. When you have entered one array formula you can copy it to other cells in normal ways. If you do it correctly Excel will automatically put braces around the formula.
