Cool Calculating Average Time across days

We are doing a time study most of the times are in the same day but we have a few that go across an evening. I have the row calculating the total days, hours and mins and that part works fine but I need to total the time and do an average. When you add a day it does not do it correctly.
Here is an example:

Time Study Formulas.xlsx

I need the Total Time and the Average Time
Any suggestions appreciated...... I am at a loss......

It's easier to calculate the difference B2-A2 and format the results as D:hh:mm instead of returning formatted text.
Then Sum and Average are easier to find and formatted as needed

Try the attached. I think you'll find it more accurate, especially concerning your highlighted entry
