Default Row was formatted as % - reformat?

Hi,

I just found a file today where I was supposed to input some figures and I noticed the figures there, which should be amounts, are for some reason formatted as %. So, it says, for example, 25,2% - that should be €25,2.

=> How can I quickly reformat that? When i simply use the regular formatting options (Ctrl+1) and change that to > currency < - then because of the % it changes into €0,25. So I have to somehow multiply it with 100 at the same time.
Is there any way to do that quickly?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Officer_Bierschnitt

25,2% is 0,252 in the background. Is there a reason why it should be 25,2?

Hi

What about if you put 100 in a cell > copy > Select all the data > Paste Special > Multiply > Format as required.

Hi,

@ Pecoflyer,

well, the reason is simply that the figures are such that it should be 25,2.
There is no apparent reason why it is formatted as 0,252 ...

@ Kevin

I think I will insert a row below, reformat the figures there and delete the row again. That should do the trick.

Thanks a lot!

There is no need for an extra row using Kevin's suggestion. Just apply it to the existing one
