First, I put 10, 3 and 0.5 in A1-C1, respectively.
Next I put 100 in D2, 1 in B2 and =D2-A2-B2 in C2 Next, I put =A1*A2 in A3 and copied across to C3 Finally, I put =SUM(A3:C3) in D3 Since the goal is to have both C3 & D3 equal to 100, I merely incremented the value in A2 till I got that result. Of course, depending on the final value required, it's also possible B2 would need adjusting as well, but in this case it didn't.
