Default Share Workbook cannot merge

Dear friends,

I'm facing a problem to merge a shared workbook. An error message said "That workbook cannot be merged because it contains changes that have not been merged followed by later changes that have already been merged into the current workbook".

I have followed the guideline to ensure that the workbook to be merged is a copy made from the same shared workbook.

Hope to be able to solve this problem. Thank you.

Hi zyzzyva57,

I have checked the link, but it seems no one replied to that same question. The other links below are non-related q & a.

I would give a Microsoft Forum a look-see

The trick is picking the right forum with so many there

Start with New Users, because this forum has more traffic

Failing this about the only advice I can offer is do what I have to do often when I have to solve a problem: work from ground up by solving the smallest part of your problem, because if you can do this you can form a more precise question to answer

What is clear to me when read by others simply overwhelms -- Often making me scream, "WHY DON'T YOU GET IT?!"

Good luck
